Background Information about yourself, property and business.’
I’m a graphic designer and got my first taste for publishing working in a small publishing company in Brisbane working on trade magazines. It wasn’t very exciting work, and I also had an interest in interior design so decided to combine my love of graphic and interior design together and created Adore Home magazine 11 years ago. I initially started it as an online magazine and am now in print, with the magazine distributed Australia-wide.
My partner and I bought our house two and a half years ago and have been working on it bit by bit, room by room. We’re almost finished which is super exciting.
It’s located about just a short walk from the beach, so it’s a really lovely spot.
What project did you use our lights for?
I selected the Austin wall sconces in flat white for our home’s front exterior (including front of house and carport). I love them!

Why did you pick barn light Australia?
I knew the selection of barn lights was really good and exactly what I was looking for. There are cheaper imitations out there, but these are the best quality. Also I like that you can choose from a variety of colours.

What style were going for on your project?
We wanted to achieve a coastal farmhouse look for our exterior – the barn lights and gate really give that farmhouse flavour, and the white weatherboards and round gable vents give it a coastal look.
How do you find the quality of the lights?
Really good, in fact our electrician always comments on the quality of your barn lights when he’s fitting them. And he’s all about quality so that’s saying something.
Would you recommend Barn light Australia to others?
Absolutely – the range is amazing and the quality is excellent!
Do you have any future projects coming up where you would use Barn light Australia again?
Not at the moment, but if we sell this home and renovate again I’d absolutely choose Barn Light again.
