Our Atomic Industrial Guard Pendant follows the design aesthetic of antique ship lamps. A maritime feature of older ships has a high wattage electrical globe with thick glass and wire cage to protect the light from the elements. As we’ve designed each component separately on all of our Atomic lights, we have a long list of customization options available to suit your own style. Select from three different cast styles: Standard, Thick, and Wire Guard, each designed with a certain look in mind.

Our Standard cast guard is our run-of-the-mill favourite given its smooth edges that allow more light output versus our Thick Cast Guard. Looking for something chunky, heavy duty, and football proof? That’s our Thick Cast Guard. If you are looking for vintage flair then ake a look at our Wire guard. Remember to dress up your industrial pendant with your choice or cord.

The reason we’ve called our lights ‘Atomic Industrial’ rather than the generic term of Bunker Lights (or similar deviations) is to ensure there is no confusion between our high-quality product and low-cost alternatives, which are typically marketed as Bunker Cage Lights or simply ‘Bunker Lights’. We assemble our Atomic lights and we use porcelain sockets, allowing wattages in excess of 200W. As our lights contain a thick glass, they are designed to accommodate a 100W incandescent bulb with glass fitted, otherwise 200W. The fundamental difference between our product and bunker lights is that the latter usually have a maximum of 40W to 50W, which is too low for residential use let alone commercial lighting. The listed wattage of our Atomic Pendants is 100W and is therefore ideal for industrial, commercial and residential lighting purposes.
