Streamline wall sconce family comes in two styles flared and non flared. To be more specific there is the streamline flared wall sconce and the streamline moderne wall sconce.
Our Streamline Flared Wall Light is modelled after our Streamline Moderne Wall Light. Its captivating styling is courtesy of the late Art Deco design movement ‘Streamline Moderne‘ from the 1930’s. For the Art Deco characteristic you’ll see the triple curving forms on the top of the Streamline sconce. This version of the Streamline has been extended with a flared shade providing both visual appeal and directional light. This design has a level of stylish complexity without appearing over-done. If you have an appreciation for the Art Deco movement or general vintage styling, the Streamline Flared is a fine-line fitting designed for illuminating walls and walkways.
Our Streamline Moderne Wall Light is modeled after it’s namesake, the late Art Deco design movement ‘Streamline Moderne‘ from the 1930’s. Streamline Modern emerged with an appreciation for long horizontal lines, nautical themes, and an emphasis on curving forms and we’ve integrated this style into our product design. You’ll see the curving forms on the top of our wall sconce, using three seemingly aerodynamic layers as the basis of the design. Minimalist in horizontal flair, while keeping obvious nautical design elements (such as ship lamps) utilized in the guard and glass. If you have an appreciation for the Art Deco movement or simply vintage styling, the Streamline will do wonders for your own home. Interior designer clients have the most to gain as this product is selling well in designer hotspots such Alexandria, NSW and Melbourne, VIC Our guards are easily threaded into the base for quick access to the glass and bulb so you may change the light-bulb without tools. We prefer the prismatic or frosted glass where using CFL bulbs, clear glass will provide an interesting focal point when using standard incandescent bulbs or otherwise LED Filament Bulbs
